OUR FOUNDER MET 30 YEARS AGO IN HIGH SCHOOL

PAssionate about supporting artists

Rahul has decades of experience working in strategy, marketing, publicity and sales. 

During more than a decade spent working and living in the creative hub of Hackney in East London, he was able to indulge his passion for art, and developed a lasting network of friends in the creative industries; artists, gallery owners, photographers and film makers. 

Rahul has an Msc and Bsc in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Kjetil cut his teeth in Silicon valley and then went on to develop technology for a range of corporations. Since escaping the corporate world in 2002, Kjetil has spent time helping friends who are artists, and set up a non-profit that supports artists. Kjetil has a BSc from Stanford University in Symbolic System and spent two more years at Stanford at the Master’s program in Computer Science.

Our mission is to make sure specialised digital tools are available to all artists and galleries that need them, because we don’t believe curation should be dominated by those with access to advanced technology.

We see a future where all artists have access to the tools to promote and protect their work that leading galleries, publishers, record labels and film studios currently have.

 

Our goal is not to become a Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter for art. We don’t want to promote the mass production or mass consumption of art, or to undermine the valuable role that galleries already play in supporting artists and helping art collectors explore and develop their sensibilities.
